• השכלה:
  • תואר שלישי (.Ph.D) בפסיכולוגיה, התמחות בפסיכולוגיה חינוכית.
  • פסיכולוג/ית חינוכי/ת מומחה/ית. נסיון מעשי בשירות הפסיכולוגי החינוכי ובשדה החינוכי-פסיכולוגי ככלל.
  • דרגת מרצה בכיר או פרופסור חבר/מן המניין.
• ניסיון:
  • ניסיון בניהול או ניהול אקדמי – יתרון משמעותי.
  • ניסיון מוכח בהוראה אקדמית ברמה גבוהה.
  • ניסיון מקצועי משמעותי בשדה הפסיכולוגיה החינוכית, לרבות עבודה עם מערכות חינוך, צוותים מקצועיים, תלמידים והורים.
  • פעילות מחקרית פעילה, כולל פרסומים אקדמיים בתחום בכתבי עת מובילים.
• יכולות וכישורים:
  • יכולת ארגון וניהול, כולל ייזום והובלה של פרויקטים אקדמיים.

Position Title: Senior Lecturer / Associate or Full Professor, Department of Educational Psychology

School: School of Behavioral Sciences

Position Description:
The School of Behavioral Sciences at the Peres Academic Center seeks to recruit ahead of program at the rank of Senior Lecturer or Associate/Full Professor, specializing in Educational Psychology. The position combines, academic coordination and professional management of the program, as well as high-quality teaching, research activity, and contribution to the development and leadership of the School.

Responsibilities:

• Administration and Organization:
  Academic coordination and leadership of the program, including oversight of faculty teaching activities and responsibility for the academic content of the program, including its ongoing development and updating in accordance with advances in the field.
• Teaching:
  Development and delivery of graduate-level courses in Educational Psychology; Mentoring and supervision of students in seminars and research projects.
• Research:
  Conducting research activity in the relevant field; Publishing articles in leading scientific journals; Promoting research collaborations with scholars in Israel and abroad.

Requirements:

• Education:
  • Ph.D. in Psychology, with specialization in Educational Psychology.
  • Licensed Educational Psychologist (Expert/Supervisor). Practical experience in educational psychological services and in the educational-psychological field in general.
  • Academic rank of Senior Lecturer or Associate/Full Professor.
• Experience:
  • Experience in management or academic administration – an advantage.
  • Proven experience in high-level academic teaching.
  • Significant professional experience in the field of Educational Psychology, including work with educational systems, professional teams, students, and parents.
  • Active and ongoing research activity, including academic publications in leading journals.
• Skills and Abilities:
  leadership abilities, strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues and administrative staff. Organizational and management skills, including initiating and leading academic projects. Excellent teaching skills and ability to make knowledge accessible to students.

Location: Peres Academic Center, Rehovot.
