The Managerial Information Systems studies program prepares its graduates for the challenges and needs of the Information Systems environment and prepares for work in the high-tech industry in Israel and the world.

The degree integrates knowledge from the business administration studies, management studies, economy, and strategy simultaneously with computers studies and information systems.

The studies program provides professional tools enabling integration in the high-tech branch already at the end of the first year of studies and reflects the experience gained in the fields of information systems in universities in Israel and the world. The program components were adapted to the requirements presented by the leading entities in the world.

The program at the Peres Academic Center operates in cooperation with the Israeli Chamber of Information Technology.

Information systems studies are fit for people who wish to combine two exciting fields: business management and information systems management.
The studies program of Managerial Information Systems opens a variety of employment possibilities in information systems management in the business and in the public sectors.
The course graduates are qualified to be managers specializing in information systems, and they can integrate in analysis jobs, design and building organizational information systems, and other management positions in all the organization’s wings using information systems, in management positions of organizational information systems and other senior management positions. The course graduates will contribute to their employers by closing the gap between the organizations and companies’ managers and those holding technology professions.

Admission conditions to Managerial Information Systems [B.A.]

To the program will be admitted candidates that meet the following conditions:

  • Entitlement to a matriculation certificate with a weighted grade average of at least 90, with at least a grade of 75 in 5 study units of mathematics, or at least a grade of 85 in 4 study units of mathematics.
  • Those with a matriculation average ranging between 75 and 89 can be admitted on condition and will be required to achieve an average of at least 70 during the first year.
  • Students that do not meet the mathematics condition will be required to pass a preparatory class in mathematics.
  • Exemption in mathematics will be given based on a grade of 120 and above in the quantitative thinking chapter of a psychometric exam achieved during the past 10 year, and at least 4 units of mathematics studies, or equivalent academic studies or such that exceed in scope in the field of mathematics studied during the past 10 years.

*Admission of exceptional candidates is possible to a scope of 10% based on consideration of exceptional life circumstances.

Degree Plus is a unique track providing a variety of professional certificates already during the degree studies without additional cost. In the undergraduate degree in Managerial Information Systems there is a variety of certificates providing our graduates a clear advantage in the labor market: Cyber and Data and Infrastructures Protection Certificate, Technological Entrepreneurship Certificate, and Projects management in Information Systems certificate.
