Dog Therapy
This track teaches students about dog therapy, including a series of experiential meetings with a variety of populations that involve social, educational, and behavioral purposes, as well as rehabilitation, using dogs.
The courses in this track deal with topics including training methods common in the world of modern dog therapy, with an emphasis on adapting these methods to each dog and owner, and an in-depth familiarity with a range of populations: youth at risk, learning disabilities, various disabilities and syndromes, and more. Courses are taught in partnership with and under the direction of the My Dog College, the largest center in Israel for certifying professionals and caregivers in many fields, including dog therapy, dog training, and more.
