Internal scholarships based on socio-economic background

The Peres Academic Center Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to students who attend the Center in accordance with the recommendations of the Center’s Scholarship Committee.
The Scholarship Committee has full discretion as to its recommendations for the association to distribute scholarships to students of the Center.
However, and without negating the Scholarship Committee’s discretion, the Scholarship Committee may prioritize students in need of financial assistance and support during their academic studies, students who are engaged in social engagement projects, and outstanding students and worthy of academic achievement.

Deadlines and manner of filing a scholarship application

Criteria for scholarship granting:

1. A student studying at the Peres Academic Center during the 5783 school year in a full studies program is not under frozen status or studies interruption.
2. Proven economic needer.
3. A scholarship request will be examined only after settling the annual tuition payment.

Submission of scholarship requests and the activity of the Scholarships Committee:

Each student in the Center is entitled to submit a scholarship request during each of his years of studies subject to meeting the criteria for granting a scholarship as stated in Clause A above. The Scholarships Committee is entitled to disqualify a scholarship request that will not be completed as required and/or in case of failure to enclose all the required documents.

A student who will be determined as entitled to a scholarship will receive it only after settling the annual tuition fee. If a scholarship is granted, the sum will be deducted from the student’s remaining due payments after the student’s tuition fees are settled.

So how is the request for a scholarship submitted?

• Enter the Student Information Unit, General – > Scholarship request form.
• Completing the online request form as required.
• The attachment of the required documents to the form.
• Writing a free text, everything you feel is important for us to know regarding your request, which was not necessarily expressed on the form or in the enclosed documents.
• Press – SEND. Please ascertain that you have sent your request and not only pressed SAVE as a draft.

For your attention, during the request processing, you may be updated by mail of missing documents; please review the Notices inbox and send us the documents within the required time.

Dates for the scholarship request submission – Winter 5783 term:

• On October 2, 2022, notice will be sent to the student’s private area advising of the starting date for scholarship request submission. See instructions for scholarship request submission.
• The online form and enclosed documents must be completed and submitted by Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
• The Scholarships Committee’s decision will be provided until the end of the examinations period in Semester A.

Dates for the scholarship request submission – Spring 5783 term:

• On March 1, 2023, notice will be sent to the student’s private area advising of the starting date for scholarship request submission. See instructions for scholarship request submission.
• The online form and enclosed documents must be completed and submitted until Wednesday, April 30, 2023.
• The Scholarships Committee’s decision will be provided until the end of the examinations period in Semester B.
