Biography
Dr. Shirley Levy completed her PhD at Tel Aviv University. Her research work, under the guidance of Prof. Ariel Porat, dealt with economic and behavioral analysis and of the promise of consumer refund. Dr. Levy holds a Bachelor of Law (Honors) from Tel Aviv University and a master’s degree in Law (on Corporate and Securities) from Columbia University in New York. Dr. Levy visited as a visiting scholar at Harvard University, University of Innsbruck (Austria) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Hebrew University (Sacher Institute). Dr. Levy majored in Gross, Kleinhendler, Hodak, Halevy, Greenberg & Co. Law Firm. Later, she served as a legal assistant in the Supreme Court, in the office of Judge Y. Amit. Dr. Levy is currently teaching at the Peres Academic Center and in the Department of Management and Accounting at Tel Aviv University.
