Biography
Dr. Ouziely Mirsky is the head of the Learning Resources Development Unit, a staff member of the Business Administration School, and the Peres Academic Center third year students’ final major project supervisor. She holds a PhD in Environmental Economics & Management from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has engaged in research of the Ottoman Empire’s economic history, and especially the subsequent economic effect of the violation of private property rights as a recession-preserving government policy. She participated in conferences and published policy studies in the topics of: channeling agricultural food surplus to people in need, and Haredi employment in Israel. Her main research areas are economic history and macroeconomics.
