Biography
Dr. Shai Moshel, a clinical pharmacist by training, currently serves as Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Director at Israeli HMO Meuhedet. Dr. Moshel’s responsibilities include many issues related to medicinal treatment policies, the calculated use of medications, and financial assessments of medical technologies. Additionally, he researches the connection between medicinal treatment in general and financial estimates in particular. Dr. Moshel lectures in Israel and around the world on a range of topics related to medicinal treatment, pharmacology, pharmacoeconomics, medicine use policies, and more. He also serves as Secretary of the ISPOR association of pharmacoenomics. Dr. Moshel is a graduate of the School of Pharmacy at Hebrew University in Jerusalem (magna cum laude), and holds a doctorate in Clinical Pharmacy (PharmD) from the same university. Dr. Moshel also holds a MBA from Tel Aviv University, specializing in Accounting and Financing.
