Biography
The lecturer is a researcher specializing in the fields of artificial intelligence, technological entrepreneurship, data science, and information systems. His unique academic and professional background enables interdisciplinary research that bridges academic theory with practical application in the business world, with a focus on Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI), AI-driven venture capital investment, and entrepreneurship in the digital age. As part of his academic work, he has developed innovative academic courses in the field of artificial intelligence and its business applications. His doctoral research focuses on explainable AI to support investment decision-making processes by venture capital funds in startup companies.
His professional experience includes over 20 years of senior executive roles in the global technology industry, including management of business units with revenues of hundreds of millions of dollars and hundreds of employees, leading enterprise sales exceeding one billion dollars, and founding and managing several startup companies—some of which expanded to global operations. His roles included serving as a senior executive in leading U.S.-based companies such as Amdocs, Vindicia, and Vubiquity, alongside founding and managing entrepreneurial ventures.
His work in both academia and industry provides a unique integrative perspective on the intersection of artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, and business leadership, significantly enriching both research and teaching. His activities include strategic consulting for companies in the areas of AI adoption, product innovation, and digital transformation, as well as delivering practical training to employees and management teams.
He is involved in various ventures and serves as a consultant and lecturer to leading organizations and startups on topics related to the adoption and integration of AI into daily work practices.
