Biography
Dr. Lily Chernyak-Hai is a senior staff member of the Business Administration School in Peres Academic Center, and holds a PhD in Social Psychology from Tel Aviv University. Dr. Lily Chernyak-Hai’s main research areas are inter-personal and inter-group helping behavior affected by emotions, perceptions, and cognitive tendencies, in various social and cultural contexts. In particular, the issue of helping relations as power relations. In recent years, she also extended her research to the fields of organizational and industrial psychology, examining the role of psychological-social factors in organizational behavior, and in particular civil organizational behavior, and non-productive/improper organizational behavior. Her research combines experiments with field studies.
