Biography
Prof. (Emerita) Shoshana Shvarts, Professor of Health Sciences, PhD in Health Systems Management (1993), Faculty of Health Sciences, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. In 1993-1994, she studied at the School of Medicine, University of Rochester, New York, in Health Systems Management. Since 1995, she has been a faculty member at the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ben-Gurion University. She is a member of the management of the National Institute for Health Policy Research and has written and edited 14 books to date, 8 of which are on the Israeli health system. Her book “Health Fund, Histadrut Government” (Ben-Gurion Heritage Institute, 2000) won the Einhorn Prize for Hebrew Medical Literature
