Biography

Ms. Irit Schwartz-Weiner serves as the practicum coordinator and supervisor in the Clinical Psychology Master’s program. Irit is a licensed clinical psychologist who maintains a private practice in Jerusalem. Previously, she worked in the psychiatric unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. She holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and has taught as a teaching fellow in courses dealing with developmental psychology at the university. In her work and thinking, Irit emphasizes focusing on transference and on what occurs in the “here and now” during the therapeutic encounter.
