Biography
Lecturer, social psychologist, and organizational consultant, with a rich experience in employee screening and organizational consulting to large market companies. Dr. Rot served as an honorary external lecturer for three years before accepting her appointment as a staff lecturer. She obtained her PhD in Organizational-Social Psychology in 2010 from Bar Ilan University (direct PhD program). Her doctoral dissertation, instructed by Prof. Joseph Schwarzwald, engages with management influence in states of conflict with employees. Dr. Rot successfully teaches quantitative research methods, social psychology, and management psychology. Dr. Rot’s research engages with conflict management, social power, emotion regulation, and leadership, focusing mostly on the impact of technologies over emotion regulation, position, and perceptions of power over conflict management strategies.
