A national mentoring project allowing students to take part in personal or group mentoring activity with children or youth in need of educational and emotional assistance. The mentor provides personal attention and a serves as a positive role model for the child, thus helping the child fulfill their hidden potential, develop positive self-esteem, and thrive. Activity is mostly in a scope of four weekly hours (twice a week for about two hours) during the afternoon. This activity starts in the beginning of the academic school year, and continues to the end of June.

The scholarship amount: ILS 5,200 (some projects in certain cities allow a higher scholarship).

Kan Garim is an innovative social housing project, in which students live in the homes of senior citizens, for a symbolic monthly participation price of ILS 300. The students will be obligated to participate in volunteer work in a scope of 160 annual hours with the elderly person with whom they live throughout the year.

Educational work and guidance for excellence with children in elementary school to high school ages. In elementary school education, teaching lessons in the subjects of mathematical thinking, language skills, and English. In secondary education education, teaching pre-academic lessons in various subjects. Facilitating enrichment classes and workshops, private lessons for small groups in a variety of subjects: linguistics, math, English, language, literature, and more. In high school, preparation for the Bargut exams. The activity takes place once per week in a scope of 130 annual hours between October and July.

A program which allows students to volunteer in schools or kindergartens during the school year, by assisting the educational staff, according to the student’s specialties. This activity takes place in mornings, in a scope of 4 weekly hours.

Scholarship amount: 60% of the university’s tuition fee.

Educating youth to volunteer and social initiatives all around the country, integrating the students as area coordinators and group guides in an activity with a scope of 160-250 hours.

This program seeks to establish a community of young people, for the purpose of creating young people-oriented urban renewal. The program begins with a two-year scholarship, in which each student receives a university scholarship and monthly rent participation of ILS 500 per month. In return for the scholarship, the students move into the city, volunteer in community work, participate in community meetings once per week with the purpose of forming a permanent settlement group in the city, and acting together through impactful community work. Screening is performed each year during June.

For students interested in affecting social change, establishing and belonging to a young community of leaders in Ramat Eliyahu neighborhood in Rishon LeZion, with activity in a scope of 160 hours of community work in the neighborhood.
