Mankind's hardest blow is not ignorance, but the refusal to know

Simon de Beauvoir

I am a graduate of the departments of Sociology, Philosophy and Literature at Tel Aviv University. My PhD dissertation in literature dealt with sociological and psychological aspects of the literary space for gay poetry in the country; In the process, I studied poetic strategies of acceptance, awareness and non-awareness, and the social conditions for the acceptance of this poetry in practice. I deal with the poetry of other non-hegemonic groups, such as Palestinian poetry, women's poetry, or poetry by the “Ars-Poetica” group, and I deal with the influence of social / political aspects on the cultural sphere and issues of 'identity.' In addition to these fields, I am interested in history, philosophy, religions and music.

Areas of study: Sociology, Philosophy, Literature.
