Dr. Sharon Iron-Segev is a certified clinical dietician, holding an MA and PhD from the Harvard School of Public Health, in the United States. She has a rich experience and reputation of over 25 years, treating people of all ages suffering from eating disorders. Teaching areas: Dr. Sharon Iron-Segev serves as a lecturer in Peres Academic Center in the following fields: nutritional epidemiology, public health, dietetics, guided reading and writing, and nutrition seminar. In addition, she serves as a lecturer and researcher in the fields of public health, nutrition promotion in the community, nutritional epidemiology, and eating disorders at the Robert H Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Research areas: Dr. Sharon Iron-Segev’s research fields are eating disorders and obesity, risk factors for the development of eating disorders and obesity, eating and feeding habits in infants and children, promotion of nutrition in the community, as well as women and children’s health.
Areas of study: nutritional epidemiology, public health, dietetics, guided reading and writing, and nutrition seminar.
